blueRailways Terms and Conditions of Sale.
1. Definitions.
"Company" blueRailways is the trading name of Ian McFarlane.
"Customer" means the person, or company, whose order for the product is accepted by the Company.
2. Customer's statutory rights
Our terms and conditions comply with current legislation, including the Distance Selling Regulations and are designed to ensure that all of our customers can shop easily and with confidence at blueRailways.
The Customer's statutory rights as a Consumer under UK law are not affected by these terms and conditions. We want you to enjoy our products without getting too legalistic and we want you to be confident that we are here to help you in any way we can if any problems do arise.
3. Orders
When you place an order, we’ll need your name, address and e-mail. It’s useful to have a contact telephone number so that we can reach you if there’s a problem with your order. We will notify you of receipt of your order and you’ll be able to check if all the details are correct.
4. Availability of Products.
If a product is out of stock, this will be flagged on the site and you will have the option to receive an email notification when the product is back in stock.
5. Products.
Information contained on the Website is correct to the best of the Company's knowledge. The Company reserves the right to make changes to or discontinue any products without prior notice.
6. Prices and Payments.
All prices are in pounds sterling and are correct at the time of publication.
The Company is not VAT registered.
7. Payments
On-line orders must be completed via the PayPal checkout. For such payments PayPal’s terms and conditions will apply which can be found here -

Alternatively payment can be made by Cheque to the postal address shown below or by direct bank transfer ( Sort Code: 30-95-96 , Account Number: 19102860 ) Where payment is made by Cheque or bank transfer, the Company reserves the right to delay despatch of any order until the the funds have cleared in the Company's account. To be eligible to purchase products on this website the Customer must be over 18 years of age. The price of a Product does not include delivery charges - see Delivery below.
8. Delivery.
A delivery charge of £4.00 will be added at the checkout to cover postage and packing. Orders will currently only be shipped and delivered to addresses located within the United Kingdom. The Company will endevour to ship all orders within 1 to 2 business days, but reserves the right to delay fullfillment for any reason. But please bear in mind that postal services aren’t always as reliable as we’d like them to be!! At times of public holidays, e.g Christmas, delivery may take a little longer. The Company use Royal Mail, and a signature is usually required on delivery.
9. Cancellation.
The Customer has a right to cancel an order, provided it is no longer than fourteen days after the product is ordered. This can be done by email, telephone or in writing. You’ll be given a full refund, minus the initial postage charge.
10. Warranty.
All products are guaranteed for one year from date of purchase. The Company will gladly replace or repair any faulty item that is returned within the guarantee period, provided the defect is as a result of unsatisfactory quality, not fit for purpose or not as described.
11. Returns.
Prior to returning Goods for any reason the Customer must contact the Company for instructions for return. Returns of unwanted products under the UK Distance Selling regulations are to be made at the Customer's own expense and risk. Please return the product in good condition, ideally with its original packaging within 7 working days from the date you received the products. Items returned damaged will not be eligible for a refund. The refund excludes the original delivery charge. If you’re returning a product because it is faulty we will pay the return delivery costs. If you return goods to us, please use an insured method of despatch and obtain proof of posting. We regret we can’t accept liability for returned goods being lost or damaged in transit.
